On the Path of Change - Support in Times of Stress
Stress and anxiety are closely connected, and each of us has developed our own ways of coping with them in daily life. Yet during challenging phases or life crises, stress can become overwhelming, leading to a range of psychological, emotional, and behavioral reactions.
Sudden and intense experiences can trigger symptoms that may shake our sense of stability. What feels manageable for one person — such as boarding an airplane — can be deeply challenging for another.
These reactions, while uncomfortable or even frightening, are in most cases normal and healthy responses to strain. Often, they subside naturally after a few days of rest and recovery. In such situations, psychological first aid or crisis intervention can be a valuable form of support.
As a member of the peer group for stress management after critical incidents with the Mayday Foundation (ICISF), I offer immediate support when needed.
When stress or tension persists, it’s worth taking a closer look at your usual coping strategies — and perhaps adjusting them. Sometimes life’s challenges build up and reach a threshold that signals it’s time for change.
I support you in exploring and transforming your way of dealing with stress, helping you regain calm and balance.
Let’s walk the path toward positive change — together.
